About Modaxis

Modaxis is an independent technical planning consultancy based in Colchester, supporting renewable energy and building projects across the UK and internationally. We provide clear, practical and proportionate advice on glint and glare, telecommunications, shadow flicker, broadband connectivity, mobile phone reception, EIA input and stakeholder consultation.

Modaxis was founded in 2026 by Aaron Williams. Aaron has more than five years of technical consultancy experience across renewable energy and building development projects. His experience includes both field surveys and desk-based technical reporting for UK and international projects, with hundreds of technical assessments and stakeholder consultations prepared or managed across solar, wind, and building developments.

Aaron’s experience includes engagement with developers, planners, local authorities, airport safeguarding teams, air navigation stakeholders, infrastructure operators and other consultees to help identify and resolve project constraints. He has also supported projects through technical consultation and attended hearings in the UK and internationally.

Aaron holds a First-Class BSc in Mathematics from University College London and is APM PMQ qualified, bringing structured project management knowledge to the delivery of technical assessments, stakeholder consultation and planning support.

Before moving into technical planning consultancy, Aaron gained laboratory experience as a Chemist at Bureau Veritas, conducting analytical testing and working to strict quality control and calibration procedures.

Modaxis combines technical understanding, clear communication and practical planning awareness to help clients identify constraints, respond to stakeholder requirements and progress projects with confidence.
